An internal Bestard Mountain Boots team picks by their own criteria which are the BEST PHOTOS among the resulting finalists in Luca Memorial Contest 2022.
The one winner photo will be awarded the ‘BESTARD Award 2022’ consisting of the best sellers of the brand:

The CANYON GUIDE – already a classic model designed for swift water activities. Its stability, ruggedness, low weight, confort, durability, built in gravel-gater etc. has made it a favourite within the international canyonering community, not the least for tough and demanding activities such as expeditions to remote and complicated canyons including long approach marches and jungle treks; for sea- and mountain rescue teams; subacuatic caving etc.

The WILDWATER PRO is a new very exciting mid-cut boot for activities such as canyoneering, backrafting, swift water kayaking, caving etc. Its special construction with one fix and one removable footbed allows for use with normal socks for the approach, and with neoprene socks after removing the footbed.

BESTARD Award 2022 'within the ‘Luca Memorial Contest 2022’.

It has been very difficult to select only 5 among these 101 magnificent photos.
👉🏻We considered:
- the visual impact they produce, making us feel inside them and being able to convey the beauty of the place and the strength of extreme sports.
- photographic aspects, such as framing and good exposure since they are difficult photographs to take: complex media, busy and risky situations.
- darkness, taken in low light situations,which makes them very special.
.
Regarding the values that Bestard represents, any of these photographs would represent us as manufacturers of footwear for outdoor terrain and a company made up of mountain activities lovers,any natural space reflected in these photographs is related to our core values.
.
In addition,our philosophy of self-overcoming,continuous improvement,research & vision of the future are reflected in the selected images,since we share a desire for discovery,effort to improve and to be able to face new challenges.
More importantly,canyoning&caving are sports that are practiced in cohesive groups of friends&family that want to achieve their goals,one of the fundamental pillars of our company.

It is difficult to take a picture that is capable of representing such large spaces and allowing us to admire wild nature.
