BESTARD Award 2023 'within the ‘Luca Memorial Contest FINALE 2023’.
In February 2024 an internal Bestard Mountain Boots team will pick by their own criteria which are the BEST PHOTOS among the FINALIST photos in Luca Memorial Contest 2023.
The one winner photo will be awarded the ‘BESTARD Award 2023’ consisting of the best sellers:

The CANYON GUIDE – already a classic model designed for swift water activities. Its stability, ruggedness, low weight, confort, durability, built in gravel-gater etc. has made it a favourite within the international canyonering community, not the least for tough and demanding activities such as expeditions to remote and complicated canyons including long approach marches and jungle treks; for sea- and mountain rescue teams; subacuatic caving etc.

The WILDWATER PRO is a new very exciting mid-cut boot for activities such as canyoneering, backrafting, swift water kayaking, caving etc. Its special construction with one fix and one removable footbed allows for use with normal socks for the approach, and with neoprene socks after removing the footbed.

BESTARD Award 2023 'within the ‘Luca Memorial Contest 2023’.
It has been very,very difficult to select only 5 from these incredible 110 photos.
👉🏻We considered:
- the visual impact they produce,making us feel inside them&able to convey the beauty of the place&the strength of extreme sports.
- photographic aspects,such as framing&good exposure,as they are difficult photos to take: complex,busy,and risky situations,as well as darkness,taken in low-light,which makes them very special.
.
Regarding the values represented by Bestard,any of these photos would represent us as manufacturers of outdoor footwear&a company made up of mountain activity lovers; any natural space reflected in these photos is related to our core values.
Therefore,we have also wanted to select a photo from each activity in which our products are used,such as canyoning,winter canyoning,caving,and underwater caving.

Furthermore,our philosophy of personal improvement,continuous improvement,research,imagination,courage,and vision for the future are reflected in the selected images,as we share a desire for discovery,effort to improve,and the ability to face new challenges.
Most importantly,canyoning&caving are sports that are practiced through teamwork in cohesive groups of friends&family who want to achieve their goals,one of the fundamental pillars of our company.
